We specialize in sourcing and distributing consumer electronics, mobile devices, accessories, and IT products across the UAE market. Role Summary:
The Procurement Head plays a strategic leadership role responsible for sourcing strategy, supplier partnerships, cost optimization, and product availability across retail and omni-channel operations. This role bridges procurement, supply chain, finance, merchandising, and operations to ensure competitive purchasing, optimal inventory levels, and strong vendor performance aligned with overall business goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategy aligned with company growth and profitability

targets

  • Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, onboarding, and performance management

  • Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, rebates, payment terms, and marketing

support

  • Build and manage strategic supplier relationships and Joint Business Plans (JBPs)

  • Monitor global and regional market trends across Electronics, Mobile, IT, Appliances, and AV categories to optimize sourcing decisions

  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining product quality and compliance

  • Oversee demand planning alignment with sales and operations to ensure product availability

  • Optimize inventory levels, reduce aging stock, and manage obsolescence risks

  • Collaborate with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning related to

procurement

  • Implement procurement controls, policies, and compliance with regulatory standards

(product certifications, import regulations)

  • Track procurement KPIs (cost savings, supplier performance, lead times, stock turns) and

present reports to senior leadership

  • Lead and develop the procurement team to ensure operational excellence

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)

  • 7–12 years procurement experience in electronics retail/distribution

  • Strong supplier negotiation and contract management expertise

  • Proven experience in cost control and inventory optimization

  • Knowledge of import/export and regulatory compliance

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen

  • Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
