Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive kidswear category strategy aligned with overall business goals to maximize sales and profitability, considering seasonal trends and market dynamics.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial concept and sourcing to pricing, promotion, and inventory management, ensuring optimal product assortment and availability.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting to identify emerging opportunities and anticipate consumer preferences within the kidswear market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, managing performance, and ensuring product quality and timely delivery.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in business principles.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in category management, buying, or merchandising within the kidswear or apparel industry, demonstrating proven experience.
- Strong understanding of the kidswear market, including trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape, showcasing market knowledge.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions, highlighting analytical capabilities.
