A renowned catering business in Kuwait are looking for a Catering Sales Manager to join their team -
JOB SUMMARY
The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for contracting and closing local catering and social / business events.The position is responsible for achieving catering revenue goals on a monthly, quarterlynbspand annual basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Usually visit clients or arrange meetings with customers to discuss how their products can effectively meet the needs of the customer.
• Involves delivering of sales pitches and presentations to clients where they highlight the benefits their products offer to customers and encourage them to make a purchase.
• Prepare detailed Banquet Orders that accurately convey details and services negotiated with Client.nbsp
• Supervises and monitors the catering processes. Makes any necessary changes as needed to meet customer needs, improve efficiency, capitalize on revenue opportunities and increase satisfaction.
• Develops menus for catering services. Evaluates and recommends menu formats and pricing presentations.
• Maintains all costs for services provided within budget, which includes recording meal counts and sales of catered events.
• Prepares daily and weekly sales and cost reports, reviewing financial performance at least monthly with the General Manager or Director.
• Visits all catered events throughout the day to assess service and customer satisfaction levels. Evaluates customer suggestions and implements changes as needed
As an ideal candidate, you must have:
• At least 3 years sales & operational experience in F&B, hospitality industry in managerial role
• Experience in catering sales, selling to large scale corporate events, weddings, etc, preferably with own contact base and extensive Kuwait client network
• nbspHave worked in the Middle East markets, preferably Kuwait
• Fluent in both spoken and written Arabic and English
• Strong planning and organizational abilities; ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint software programs.
