Roles and Responsibilities
Should be aware / well trained to handle incidents during emergencies, with no panic.
Should be well trained for communicating with Customers / Tenants / Staff during incidents.
Professional Radio use during emergencies.
Should be well trained for Fire Fighting.
Should be aware of names of Stores / complete infra structure of the mall / facilities including Carrefour, Magic Planet & VOX Cinemas.
Well knowledge of Management Team including Enova plus phone numbers.
Should priorities the incidents in the mall that happen at the same time.
Should immediately attend incidents within 3 minutes of happening.
Take pictures of all incidents / important observations for safety.
Ensure immediate response to emergencies by ERT (Emergency Response Team) members.
Monitor activities inside ERT control room and ensure all systems functioning.
Coordinate with FAP-1(Technical Advisor) about fire alarm panel response.
Maintain constant communication with ERT by means of radio.
Operate general control system computer for uploading information from proxy pens and generating reports.
Conduct daily briefing with ERT members.
Train ERT members for new procedures implemented by mall management.
Ensure Fire Alarm Panel main audio system is always operational.
Monitor daily inspections of extract fans and dampers control panels.
Handle disabled call alarms to be monitored / inspected / submitted the report accordingly.
Respond to intercom system between CCTV Room & Elevators.
Respond to repeater panel of car park.
Control the entry of unauthorized personnel inside the ERT control room.
Keep record of visitors to the ERT control room.
Generate incident reports whenever necessary.
Control the issue of access cards.
Coordinate with maintenance department of any problems with the ERT control room equipment.
Report to Team Leader as to the new / existing system implemented within the ERT control room.
Supervise / support the ERT staff whenever necessary.
Keep the records of the activities maintained by maintenance with ERT control room.
Know location of nearest (Fire Cabinet / Manual Call Point / Fire Escape Door).
Make sure the control room is always clean and tidy.
Make sure the control room door is always clear.
