Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

To lead the B2C Fit-Out entity as a full profit center, delivering annual revenue, margin growth, cash-flow discipline, project execution excellence, client satisfaction, governance compliance, and people development—fully aligned with the Designsmith Governance Framework and long-term scaling roadmap.

A. Entity Leadership & P&L Performance

  • Deliver approved annual revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and cash-flow targets.
  • Lead the entity’s operational, commercial, and financial performance.
  • Ensure predictable and stable monthly and quarterly performance outcomes.

B. Strategy, Capacity & Growth

  • Review entity performance and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in pipeline planning, resource forecasting, and capacity planning.
  • Drive innovation, efficiency, and tactical execution strategies to scale the entity.
  • Uphold and promote brand value, reputation, and market positioning.
  • Ensure full compliance with approved annual budget and business plan.

C. Project Delivery Excellence

  • Ensure all projects meet KPIs across Time, Cost, Quality, Client Satisfaction, and HSE.
  • Promote structured planning, documentation, and execution discipline.
  • Resolve project escalations promptly while maintaining strong client communication.
  • Ensure project delivery adheres to all local authorities’ laws and regulations.

D. Commercial & Cash Flow Discipline

  • Strengthen billing accuracy, timely invoicing, and robust collections.
  • Ensure proactive management of variations, claims, and commercial risks.
  • Monitor project and entity profitability, driving cost control and efficiency measures.

E. Governance, Compliance & DOA

  • Operate strictly within the Delegation of Authority and Governance Framework.
  • Ensure full adherence to SOPs, processes, documentation standards, and controls.
  • Maintain accurate ERP data, reporting, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Benchmark and implement best governance practices across the entity.
  • Drive initiatives to obtain relevant international certifications.

F. People Leadership & Culture

  • Achieve optimal productivity, efficiency, and workforce effectiveness.
  • Support talent planning, retention, succession, and performance management.
  • Promote and reinforce People & Culture policies and procedures.
  • Role model Designsmith’s Core Values and Code of Conduct at all times.

G. Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Strengthen relationships with clients, driving repeat business and referrals.
  • Maintain effective coordination with consultants, PMCs, authorities, and partners.
  • Align internal stakeholders (Joinery, MEP, Facilities, Finance, P&C, Project Controls) for seamless execution.

H. Technology & Innovation

  • Identify manual or fragmented processes and drive automation and standardization.
  • Promote tech initiatives that support digital transformation and data-driven decision-making.
