Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Define the certification basis (CS-E / FAR 33 / Special Conditions).
Establish Means of Compliance (MoC) for each requirement.
Build and maintain the Compliance Demonstration Matrix (CDM).
Interface with Authorities & Stakeholders (Customer, Partners, EASA, FAA, Military Authorities).
Support certification planning, audits, and technical meetings.
Write, Review and approve certification reports (tests, analyses, similarity).
Validate compliance artifacts: test reports, analyses, calculations.
Manage certification configuration and conformity documentation.
Support Type Certification, Validation, and Supplemental TC.
Support DOA privileges and compliance procedures.
Manage deviations, concessions, and findings.
Support Continued Operational Safety (COS) activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience within turbofan propulsion, aerospace, or other complex engineered systems
- Solid understanding of turbofan architectures (including engine build-up and dressing, AGB, ECU, modules FAN/LPC/HPC/HPT/LPT/TRF/OGV , sub-systems and their integration constraints), performance drivers and technology interfaces (sensors, equipment )
- Strong knowledge of V&V, airworthiness and certification frameworks (CS-E / FAR 33, Part 21 (DOA/POA), ARP4754A (system development), ARP4761 (safety assessment), Certification test philosophy, STANAG (such as 4671), MCRI approach
- Exposure to customer, OEMs, authorities
