Job Description
Description Performance Indicators
Functional
- Develop and implement M&V plans in accordance with industry standards such as the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP).
- Collect, analyze, and validate energy consumption and performance data for buildings, industrial processes, and energy projects.
- Use statistical and engineering methods to measure energy savings and verify project performance.
- Collaborate with project teams, facility managers, and stakeholders to define baseline conditions and performance metrics.
- Monitor ongoing energy conservation measures (ECMs) and track actual versus predicted savings.
- Prepare detailed M&V reports, documenting methodologies, results, and financial impacts..
- Collaborate with line management, engineering teams, and clients to develop and execute energy management strategies.
- Actively listen, probe and identify concerns. Understand the customers needs. Demonstrate technical expertise to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.

People:
Team Management: - Oversee and guide technical staff during M&V processes
- Train team members and clients on M&V protocols and practices.
- Coordinate with line management on work issues.
- Liaising with Client to achieve excellence in customer satisfaction.
Process
- Participate in design, solution development, Measurement & Verification processes.
- Advise on improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of M&V processes.
- Stay current on emerging M&V technologies, software tools, and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable energy regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO 50001, LEED).
- Adhere to company processes, compliances and policies, with zero tolerance, while executing professional responsibilities
Desired Candidate Profile
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Bachelors degree in Energy Management, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
- Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) credential required from a recognized body (e.g., Association of Energy Engineers).
- knowledge of HVAC, lighting, building automation, industrial energy systems, and renewable technologies and proficiency with energy analysis tools.
- Experience in energy management, project evaluation, or related activities.
- Familiarity with sustainability standards and certifications (e.g., LEED, ISO 50001)
Minimum Experience:
- 4-8 years of experience in energy measurement and verification, energy management, energy solution, sustainability, performance contracting and retrofit industry.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Working knowledge of IPMVP and other M&V standards.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting tools.
- Understanding of energy systems, building operations, and energy conservation technologies.
- Experience with building automation systems (BAS), metering, and data acquisition.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
