CFD Fire Modelling Engineer

Perform CFD simulations to model fire dynamics and smoke movement in various building environments.

• Analyse simulation results to provide insights and recommendations for fire safety design improvements.
• Collaborate with fire engineers and project teams to integrate CFD findings into fire safety strategies.
• Develop and validate CFD models using experimental data and industry standards.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate CFD analysis results to clients and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory authorities, and industry stakeholders.
• Stay updated on advancements in CFD technology and fire modelling techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory)
• Experience with CFD software and fire modelling (experience in FDS, Pathfinder & PyroSim would be ideal)
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Eligibility to work in the country of application (work visa provided for UAE)
