Duties and Responsibilities
To monitor stock movement and be responsible for ordering on your section
To ensure minimum kitchen wastage.
To ensure knowledge of the product is maintained and communicated to all relevant personnel.
To be responsible for completing your mis en place
To learn and record skills and recipes from other members of the department
To report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef immediately.
To comply with all IHG Food Safety Standard policies and procedures to ensure that all statutory regulations are observed.
To liaise with the Head Chef/Sous Chef and implement new menu/dishes/systems where applicable
To ensure all statutory regulations are adhered to, such as food hygiene policies
To be flexible and willing to help the restaurant kitchen at busy times if required
ACCOUNTABILITY
Maintain high level of hygiene and food safety standards and work closely with the service staff to create true hospitality experience for all guest.
Responsible for the development of the staff working in your area
Ensuring and maintaining food cost by assisting seniors in effective planning and sharing innovative thoughts to create unique experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
2 year's minimum experience as Demi Chef De Partie in the Japanese specialty Restaurant or related professional area.
Degree or Diploma from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 year's experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
