Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items following recipes, presentation standards, and quality expectations
Manage assigned kitchen section and ensure timely preparation during service periods
Monitor portion sizes, garnishing, and storage procedures
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across workstations, tools, and equipment
Check food temperature, freshness, and stock rotation
Assist with daily food logs and inventory reporting
Communicate with team members during busy operations
Support menu specials by informing service staff and reporting excess items
Follow safety rules and report hazards or maintenance needs
Move, lift, and carry items up to required limits
Assist supervisors with operational requirements as needed
Desired Candidate Profile
Technical, trade, or vocational culinary qualification
Minimum 3 years of relevant culinary experience
Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
Professional conduct and teamwork mindset
Flexible to work various shifts as required
