Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership • Act as a key member of the executive team, offering financial insight and leadership in strategic planning. • Develop and drive financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives. • Advise the CEO and board on financial risks, growth opportunities, and performance metrics. Financial Management & Planning • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. • Provide accurate and timely financial reports and actionable insights. • Implement and maintain strong financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Corporate Finance & Treasury • Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and treasury operations. • Lead fundraising initiatives, investor relations, and engagement with financial institutions. • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders. Compliance & Governance • Ensure compliance with UAE financial laws and tax regulations (including VAT and Corporate Tax). • Oversee audit processes and ensure alignment with IFRS and corporate governance standards. Risk Management • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks through robust systems. • Develop risk assessment frameworks and reporting mechanisms. Team Leadership • Build and lead a high-performing finance team. • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our growing company in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial strategy, planning, and operations—preferably within the construction or related industries in the UAE or GCC region. This role requires a dynamic leader who can provide both strategic vision and operational execution to ensure the company’s financial health and sustainable growth.

Qualifications & Experience: • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role (minimum 5–10 years), preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector. • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or CFA preferred. • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. • Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations, financial compliance, and corporate structures. • Expertise in IFRS, corporate governance, financial modeling, and strategic financial planning. • Demonstrated success in fundraising, M&A, and investor relations is a strong advantage. • Arabic-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply, given the nature of the regional stakeholder environment. • Preference will be given to candidates with strong regional knowledge and cultural alignment, particularly those with a deep understanding of local business dynamics.
