Lead the coordination with cross-sectoral stakeholders (e.g., land use planners, environmental agencies, and infrastructure authorities) to ensure transportation plans are fully integrated with broader development goals.

• Evaluate and incorporate emerging trends such as Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), autonomous vehicles, and decarbonization strategies into transportation planning frameworks.

• Oversee the development and maintenance of advanced data models, scenario simulations, and GIS-based planning tools to support evidence-based decision-making.

• Provide strategic advisory input for high-level transportation policy development, regulatory reform, and investment prioritization initiatives.

• Represent the department in regional and international transportation planning forums, workshops, and conferences, promoting Dubai’s best practices and establishing global partnerships.

• Participate in deriving and updating Dubai wide multimodal sustainable transportation system plan that can support the emirate growth requirements;

• Participate and managing transportation planning studies conducted by others including transportation

master plans and traffic impact studies and make sure of aligning the results to Dubai strategic

transportation plan;

• Participate in planning major road and public transit systems and networks in light of RTA strategies and

goals;
