Key Responsibilities

• Perform continuous surveillance of civil, utilities, and infrastructure works to ensure compliance with contract specifications, codes, and standards
• Conduct civil and structural tests including soil compaction, moisture content, aggregate gradation, concrete slump, air entrainment, compression testing, coring, and line and level surveys
• Carry out destructive and non-destructive testing on metals and materials including dye penetrant, radiographic, tension and compression, coating thickness, and resistivity testing
• Inspect underground utilities and piping works to verify alignment, bedding, tightness, and grade
• Monitor piling installation activities to confirm correct location, depth, and bearing capacity
• Validate piping systems through P and ID checks and hydraulic or pressure testing
• Inspect electrical installations to ensure grounding, circuit integrity, and compliance with statutory and client requirements
• Monitor painting and insulation works to confirm thickness, coverage, and continuity
• Provide general inspection of construction labor and subcontracted works to ensure acceptable workmanship
• Verify equipment alignment and balancing operations
• Support preparation of quality control reports, inspection records, and procedures
• Participate in development of job safety practices and preparation of safety reports
• Assist with welder qualification testing when required
• Perform additional inspection and supervision duties associated with infrastructure and utilities works
