Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed civil engineering plans using CAD software, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil designs with architectural and structural elements, optimizing project efficiency.
- Conduct site assessments and analysis to determine topographical and environmental conditions impacting design.
- Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating technical concepts in an understandable manner.
- Perform hydrological calculations and drainage design to ensure effective water management and environmental protection.
- Utilize GIS tools to analyze spatial data and enhance the accuracy of civil design projects.
- Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, adjusting designs as necessary to meet deadlines and financial constraints.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design modifications, project correspondence, and regulatory submissions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve design methodologies and practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field, providing a solid foundation in engineering principles.
- Experience of at least 3-5 years working in EPC sector for civil design, showcasing a proven track record of successful project execution.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit, essential for producing high-quality designs.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and local building codes, critical for compliance and sustainability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective decision-making in complex design scenarios.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and capable of independent work.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with project management principles and software, aiding in the timely completion of projects.
