A Civil Engineer plans, designs, builds, and maintains essential infrastructure like

deferent type of buildings, roads, bridges, dams, and water systems, conducting

site analysis, managing budgets/schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, and

overseeing construction to protect public and environmental health , use data

from surveys, tests, and maps to develop feasible, safe, and cost-effective

project solutions, collaborating with teams, stakeholders, and contractors

throughout the lifecycle, from initial concept to project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Planning: Analyse data, create project designs (using CAD/modelling),

and develop detailed construction documents.

• Project Management: Manage budgets, timelines, resources, and oversee

construction activities.

• Site Analysis: Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.

• Compliance: Ensure projects meet Authority approval , building codes, safety, and

environmental regulations.

• Collaboration: Work with clients, architects, contractors, and government agencies.

• Supervision: Oversee technicians, ensure adherence to plans, and provide

technical guidance.
