Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Role & responsibilities
- Lead civil construction activities for 132kV / 220kV Substation Projects.
- Execute foundations for transformers, GIS buildings, control rooms, cable trenches, and boundary walls.
- Review and interpret civil drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with DEWA inspectors and ensure compliance with DEWA regulations and standards.
- Supervise subcontractors and site teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Monitor site progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure proper execution of:
- Transformer foundations
- Equipment plinths
- Oil containment pits
- Cable trenches
- Road works & drainage systems
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
- Manage material approvals, method statements, and ITP submissions.
- Coordinate with MEP and Electrical teams for smooth project execution.
