Position: Civil Engineer – Site Engineer

Department: Construction / Site Operations

Job Summary:

The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing construction activities on-site to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Acting as a key liaison between the design team, contractors, and clients, the Site Engineer ensures technical accuracy, compliance with specifications, and smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Act as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to provide guidance and resolve site issues.
• Monitor progress and prepare regular reports on project status, timelines, and budgets.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Oversee material requisitions, deliveries, and inventory management to prevent delays.
• Collaborate with the design team to address discrepancies or necessary modifications during construction.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site.
• Verify and approve work completed by contractors before client handover.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including progress reports, quality assurance records, and as-built drawings.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of UAE experience required.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with HSE standards and quality control processes.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license mandatory.
• SOE  card preferred.
