Civil Estimator - Construction Industry Competent Engineering Construction L.L.C.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Estimator to join our team in Abu Dhabi . The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of proven experience in the construction industry and a strong background in preparing accurate cost estimates for civil and infrastructure projects. This role is critical to our project bidding process and requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and commercial awareness.

Tendering and Bidding:

Prepare and submit comprehensive, competitive, and accurate cost estimates and proposals for civil, Fit- out and infrastructure projects.

Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work to fully understand project requirements.

Identify potential risks, opportunities, and cost-saving alternatives during the bidding process.

Quantity Surveying & Cost Analysis.

Perform detailed Quantity Take-Off for all civil works, including earthworks, concrete, structural steel, paving, and utilities.

Solicit and analyze quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of unit rates for various materials, labor, and equipment.

Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities and pricing schedules.

Project Collaboration & Management:

Collaborate closely with the project management, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements and to align estimates with execution plans.

Participate in bid clarification meetings and client negotiations.

Prepare per-contract documents, including project budgets and cash flow projections.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate and organized records of all project estimates, including assumptions, methodologies, and final tender submissions.

Prepare detailed reports for management on bid outcomes, market trends, and cost benchmarks.

Assist the project team with cost control and variation orders during the project execution phase.
