Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects, including infrastructure, structural works, and site development. This role requires strong analytical skills, market knowledge, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.


  • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Quantify materials, labor, and equipment required for civil works.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
  • Analyze project risks and incorporate contingencies into estimates.
  • Prepare and submit tender proposals in coordination with the estimation team.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams during pre- and post-tender stages.
  • Maintain a database of unit rates, material costs, and subcontractor pricing.
  • Participate in value engineering and cost optimization exercises.
  • Assist in post-contract cost control and variation assessments when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil estimation within the UAE or GCC region.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and pricing.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and tendering procedures.
