Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive first-principles cost estimates using CCS Candy for infrastructure (Essential), industrial, and mixed-use projects.

  • Review and interpret drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documentation to ensure complete scope alignment.

  • Perform accurate quantity take-offs and develop detailed cost build-ups and analyses.

  • Obtain, evaluate, and commercially assess subcontractor and supplier quotations.

  • Develop competitive tender pricing strategies and submit finalized commercial proposals.

  • Analyse project risks, identify scope gaps, and propose value-engineering solutions to optimize costs.

  • Ensure strict compliance with UAE construction standards, regulations, and authority requirements.

  • Prepare detailed BOQs and pricing schedules in line with prevailing market rates.

  • Conduct site visits to evaluate project constraints, logistics challenges, and cost implications.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field to ensure a strong technical foundation.

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience in civil estimation, showcasing a proven track record of successful bids.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or Associate Constructor (AC) to demonstrate expertise.

  • Experience with industry-standard estimating software like Bluebeam, Sage, or PlanSwift to enhance accuracy in estimates.

  • Familiar with Candy construction software
