Civil Inspector James Cubitt MENA

Responsibilities :

• Conduct day-to-day site inspections for civil works in line with approved drawings, specs, and standards
• Verify materials, methods, and workmanship; raise/close inspection requests (IRs) and NCRs as needed
• Monitor contractors progress, quality, and HSE compliance; escalate risks/issues promptly
• Review shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, and as-built documentation
• Prepare daily/weekly reports, photo logs, and punch lists
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams for timely resolution of site queries

Requirements :

• 9+ years of experience in building construction projects
• Proven experience with engineering consultancies in the UAE
• Post-contract supervision experience in the UAE (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of local codes, standards, and authority requirements
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Immediate availability preferred; must be currently residing in the UAE
