Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and labor teams to maintain project timelines and quality control.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed reports on project progress and challenges.
- Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to guide construction processes.
- Manage materials procurement and ensure optimal inventory levels on-site to avoid project delays.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols, conducting risk assessments to safeguard workers and the public.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
- Assist in budgeting and cost estimation to manage project expenses and maximize resource efficiency.
- Support the project manager in scheduling and planning, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of construction activities, changes, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Any National can apply. Post is not limited to any nationality. Arabic speaking will be an added advantage.
Equivalence Certificate required.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in civil construction projects, showcasing practical expertise.
Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred to handle complex engineering challenges.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software is critical for effective project execution.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and local building codes to ensure compliance.
Excellent communication skills in English, with additional languages seen as a valuable asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.
A proactive problem-solver with strong analytical abilities to navigate on-site challenges effectively.
Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of a construction site, including outdoor work conditions.
