Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to interpret plans and specifications accurately.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor construction progress and compliance with engineering standards.
- Manage on-site resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, documenting progress, delays, and issues.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
- Assist in project budgeting and cost estimation, tracking expenses against the budget.
- Resolve site-related issues promptly to minimize project delays and maintain workflow.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and labor teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in construction and site management is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or equivalent are highly regarded for project management skills.
- Experience with construction management software and tools is important for efficient project tracking.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is crucial for compliance and safety.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex engineering problems and propose effective solutions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software is necessary for interpreting project plans.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of local languages can be an advantage for communication.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to inspire and guide site personnel.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions are essential for site presence.
