Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Documentation Specialist with a solid background in Health Information Management and Clinical Coding. This role demands exceptional analytical skills, attention to accuracy, and the ability to collaborate effectively across clinical, coding, and quality teams to uphold the highest standards of documentation integrity.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

Bachelor s Degree in Health Information Management (HIM) OR

Bachelor s Degree in a Healthcare-Related Field WITH a valid certification in:

  • Clinical Coding (ICD, Procedure & DRGs),
  • CDIP (Certified Documentation Integrity Practitioner AHIMA), or ( AHIMA)
  • CDI certification from ACDIS (CDI Apprenticeship or CCDS Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist). ( acdis.org/certification)

Experience:

  • Must have post-Bachelor Degree experience of minimum 6 years in Health Information Management, Medical Records, or a Healthcare-related field.

  • Of this, at least 3 years must be in Clinical Documentation, Health Record Review, or Clinical Coding.
