Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Develop, own, and implement the hotel s multi-year digital marketing strategy and annual operating budget, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market opportunities.
- Lead the integration of digital marketing strategies with all commercial departments (Sales, Revenue Management, PR, F&B, Spa) to create a cohesive and powerful market presence.
- Define and champion the hotel's e-commerce strategy, setting ambitious targets for direct channel growth and optimizing performance on third-party platforms.
- Ensure digital marketing efforts support visibility and engagement with Accor s ALL Accor Live Limitless loyalty program, contributing to both guest acquisition and retention goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop any in-house digital marketing team members (e.g., Digital Marketing Manager, Influencer & Social Media Executive), fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
- Oversee the selection, onboarding, and performance management of digital marketing agencies and technology vendors, ensuring optimal ROI and service delivery.
Digital Channel & Performance Oversight
- Direct and oversee all digital marketing campaigns and activities, including but not limited to SEO/SEM, paid media (PPC, display, programmatic), social media strategy, content marketing, CRM/email automation, affiliate marketing, influencer collaborations, and Metasearch.
- Establish robust analytics frameworks to monitor, analyze, and report on digital channel performance, KPIs, and ROI to executive leadership, driving data-informed strategic adjustments.
- Champion the development and execution of a cutting-edge content strategy that enhances brand storytelling and engagement across all digital platforms.
Revenue & Distribution Optimization
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to ensure digital strategies support optimal pricing, rate parity, and inventory management across all online channels.
- Drive strategy for optimal visibility, content quality, and conversion performance on OTA platforms, managing relationships with key OTA market managers.
Brand & Reputation Management
- Oversee the hotel s online brand presence and reputation management strategy, ensuring consistent brand messaging and proactive engagement with online reviews and social commentary.
Innovation & Market Intelligence
- Conduct in-depth competitive landscape analysis and market research to identify emerging digital trends, technologies, and opportunities for innovation.
- Pilot new digital initiatives and technologies to maintain a competitive edge and enhance customer engagement and acquisition.
- Drive awareness, adoption, and strategic utilization of the Brand / Accor ALL and other loyalty initiatives among hotel guests and internal teams.
Budget & Financial Acumen
- Develop and manage the annual digital marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
- Provide regular forecasting and performance reports to senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in digital marketing and e-commerce, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role
- Significant experience within the hospitality, travel, or luxury retail sectors is highly preferred
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Master s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Digital Marketing Strategy) are a strong plus
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in additional relevant languages is advantageous
- Demonstrable expertise in developing and executing successful, multi-channel digital marketing strategies with a clear focus on ROI
- In-depth knowledge of SEO/SEM, paid advertising (PPC, programmatic, social), social media marketing, content strategy, CRM/email marketing, analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 4), and digital reporting
- Proven experience in managing significant marketing budgets and optimizing spend
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing talent.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Highly data-driven, with a passion for innovation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement
- Energetic, proactive, and results-oriented, with a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a senior leadership team
- Experience with hotel-specific systems (e.g., CRS, PMS, RMS) and OTA extranets is beneficial.
