Roles & Responsibilities

This role is part of a cluster team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting multiple Marriott properties across the region. Role Summary

As the Cluster Director of Marketing, you will lead the strategic marketing efforts for multiple Marriott properties within the Riyadh cluster. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, revenue growth, and guest engagement through integrated marketing, digital, PR, and social media strategies. Reporting to the General Managers and working closely with Sales, Revenue, and Operations teams, you will ensure alignment with brand standards and business objectives while fostering innovation and excellence in all marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Marketing Leadership
  • Develop and execute annual cluster marketing plans aligned with business goals and budgets.
  • Collaborate with GMs, Sales, Revenue, and F&B leaders to drive integrated campaigns across all properties.
  • Lead the development of marketing strategies for rooms, F&B, events, and other revenue-generating areas.
Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
  • Partner with the Cluster eCommerce Manager to optimize digital presence, SEO, and paid media performance.
  • Oversee content management for hotel websites, OTAs, and third-party platforms.
  • Ensure all digital marketing aligns with brand voice and standards.
Social Media & Content Strategy
  • Lead the creation and execution of social media campaigns across platforms.
  • Manage content calendars, influencer collaborations, and community engagement.
  • Monitor and respond to online reviews and guest feedback in a timely, brand-aligned manner.
Public Relations & Communications
  • Develop and implement quarterly PR plans in collaboration with agencies and regional teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local media, influencers, and bloggers.
  • Manage press releases, media events, and hotel-sponsored community initiatives.
Visual Asset & Brand Management
  • Coordinate photography and videography for marketing, PR, and F&B promotions.
  • Ensure all visual assets meet brand guidelines and support storytelling objectives.
  • Maintain a library of high-quality imagery for use across channels.
Collateral & Campaign Execution
  • Oversee the production of marketing collateral, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Manage inventory and ensure compliance with brand standards and audit requirements.
  • Support direct marketing efforts, including email campaigns and printed materials.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
  • Track and report on marketing KPIs, campaign performance, and ROI.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize future initiatives.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging digital tools.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in marketing, preferably in hospitality or luxury brands.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, social media, and PR strategy.
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
