Key tasks
To establish annual budget, marketing plan and actions plans, with measurable objectives so as to achieve revenue and profit goals outlined in the annual business plan.
To have a good understanding of contribution margins of each product results and work with respective heads of departments to maximize operating results.
To set individual sales targets by segments and by sales managers and executives, track and review productivity on a monthly, quarterly basis.
To maintain a perpetual analysis of key accounts in the Dubai city market and group movements in the region.
To obtain and maintain an awareness of community, business, political and social factors which may affect hotel s financial objectives.
To ensure that all sales contracts follow the established Hotel Policies & Procedures and are based on sound commercial judgment.
To define and target key accounts and develop effective solicitation with the sales managers.
To ensure a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales solicitation.
To research and explore new markets and potential accounts for sales team to follow-up.
To identify training needs and plan training programs for the sales team. Develop an empowered team
To assist in the training of subordinates as part of the effort to build an efficient team and to be able to take an active interest in their individual development and welfare.

Desired Candidate Profile

Essential and optional requirements
Must have already been in team leadership positions (in charge of multiple personnel) for a
minimum of 3 years.
Demonstrates success in the sales & marketing field (any industry although clearly there are
advantages of having had hospitality industry experience).
Strategic Thinker (Develop, analyze & execute strategy)
Excellent administrative skills.
Outstanding customer relations skills.
Solid understanding of the marketing and communications field - at least at the tactical level
Strong command of English Language
Knowledge of Arabic, French, Russian and Chinese languages is a strong benefit
Experience in Account Management and Business Development
Knowledge of hotel rate structure, contracting and negotiation, including basic knowledge of
Revenue Management
Excellent communication skills and a good networker (Communicate with impact)
Confident, ambitious and self motivated individual
Knowledge of Opera PMS, web and Microsoft office programs
