Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce parts according to specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings and translate them into command sequences for machines.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and perform troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
• Inspect and verify the finished product to ensure it meets order requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize production methods and improve product accuracy.
• Maintain meticulous records of production runs, adjustments made, and issues encountered.
• Ensure that all machines are kept in top condition through regular servicing and prompt repairs.
• Adhere to all workplace safety policies and regulations in machine operation and quality checks.
• Adjust machine settings and parameters for optimal performance and material conservation.
• Train and mentor junior machinists and production assistants to achieve high production standards.
• Review program blueprints and work on modifying machine settings to accommodate different designs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and familiarity with CNC machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail for precision manufacturing.
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity to manage CNC machinery safely.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and engineers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification or apprenticeship in CNC operation is preferred.
