Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting and financial activities related to warehouse and cold storage operations. • Take full responsibility for all finance-related activities within the department.

• Record daily transactions including expenses, and inventory movements.

• Reconcile warehouse inventory with accounting records to ensure accuracy.

• Prepare monthly financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.

• Monitor and control costs, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.

• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for invoice verification, payment processing, and stock audits.

• Ensure all financial records comply with UAE VAT regulations and company policies.

• Assist in internal and external audits as required.

• Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial and inventory records.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment. • Strong understanding of inventory accounting and cost control. • Familiarity with UAE accounting standards and VAT requirements. Preferred: • Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., Tally, ______________). • Knowledge of cold chain operations and logistics processes. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail. • Ability to prepare reconciliations and financial statements independently. Soft Skills • Excellent communication and coordination abilities. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Team-oriented and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment. • High level of integrity and professionalism. Benefits • Competitive salary: AED 3,000 – AED 5,000. • Benefits and allowances as per UAE labor law.
