ABOUT THE ROLE
This position will be responsible to grow Careem NOW and new verticals in their assigned regions, providing high quality services, social impact, and attracting exceptional talent. The person in this post has an opportunity to make a tremendous impact on the region and the trajectory of the company
Key responsibilities include:
• Own the growth strategy for the region and lead its implementation
• Manage the product to best meet the evolving needs of the regional market
• Build deep relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and suppliers
• Manage complex contract negotiations and work with legal counsel (if required)
• Lead the implementation of partnerships across different functional units
• Manage the business development and sales process in country
• Secure big partnerships that could change the game in the market
• Manage the P&L of the market and set/achieve ambitious target
• Build and lead an aggressive, bold, and highly operational team
• Work with a cross-functional team of analysts, marketers, engineers, and productbmanagers to deliver against the organization's KPIs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, communications, and marketing
Requirement Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a passionate commitment to improving the lives of people, an insane focus on excellence and customer service, and a strong alignment with our core values: being bold, focused, agile and collaborative, wowing customers and acting like an owner
• 7 years experience preferably in the food industry as BD or Sales leader in a high- performing organization
• Strong account management, relationship building and process management skills
• Ability to craft and articulate solutions that create win-win outcomes and excite
• A solid understanding of company's market: products, players, technologies, and a rolodex of contacts in related markets
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
• Technology background and experience working in the region
