Key tasks
The responsibility of the position includes;
- Complete daily checks of all Mis en place to ensure quality, maintain proper labeling, stock rotation, and minimize wastage, proper level of par stocks and supplies according to daily work sheets.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils and equipment s follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards.
- Communicate daily with supervisors to ensure open lines of communication, complete assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Attend all daily shifts briefings.
- Prepare and service all food items for a la carte and / or buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards and perform any other reasonable duties as required by department head.

Desired Candidate Profile

Essential and optional requirements
- Previous experience in a 4 or 5 star environment and certification in a culinary institution.
- Experience international cuisine including Arabic, in a la carte, banquet and buffet preparation.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Working knowledge of fundamentals of cooking with knowledge of all large and small kitchen operating equipment s.
