Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes under the supervision of senior chefs, ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment to promote a safe and efficient environment.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting in the ordering of supplies, ensuring that ingredients are fresh and available.
- Participate in daily mise en place, efficiently preparing ingredients for service to streamline the cooking process during peak hours.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, showcasing foundational skills in cooking.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced establishment.
- Experience in various cooking techniques and cuisines, demonstrating versatility and a passion for food.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices, ensuring compliance in daily operations.
