Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform functional testing and loop checks on instrumentation systems to verify proper operation and accuracy, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot a wide range of field instruments, including transmitters, sensors, and control valves, utilizing specialized tools and equipment.
  • Conduct pre-commissioning activities such as inspections, continuity checks, and insulation resistance testing to prepare instruments for operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve instrumentation-related issues and provide technical support during the commissioning phase.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Diploma or Associate's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related technical field, providing a strong foundation in instrumentation principles.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP) or equivalent, demonstrating commitment to industry standards.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commissioning instrumentation systems within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Generation industries.
  • Exhibits proficiency in using calibration equipment like pressure calibrators, multi-meters, and HART communicators, ensuring accurate instrument performance.
