Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Safely transport employees, clients, or goods to designated locations

  2. Follow traffic laws and company policies at all times

  3. Plan efficient routes to avoid delays

  4. Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off

  5. Perform regular checks (fuel, oil, tires, brakes)

  6. Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition

  7. Report any mechanical issues promptly

  8. Schedule servicing and repairs when needed

  9. Keep records of vehicle documents (registration, insurance)

  10. Submit expense reports (fuel, tolls, parking)

  11. Be punctual, reliable, and well-presented

  12. Maintain confidentiality (especially when transporting executives)

  13. Provide courteous service to passengers

  14. Follow company instructions and schedules

  15. Comply with health and safety regulations

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Must have a valid UAE driving license (light vehicle or heavy depending on job)

  • Common license categories:

    • Category 3 → Light vehicle (cars, vans)

    • Category 5/6 → Bus/heavy vehicles

  • Minimum high school (10th / 12th pass)

  • Usually 1–3 years driving experience in UAE

  • Basic English communication required, Arabic is a plus but not always mandatory

  • Good knowledge of Dubai roads & traffic rules

  • Ability to use GPS / navigation apps

  • Safe driving habits & clean driving record

  • Time management & punctuality

  • Polite behavior (especially for company or hotel drivers)

  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
