Operation and Control: • Operate the concrete placing boom to distribute concrete accurately at construction sites. • Ensure smooth and continuous flow of concrete during placement. • Adjust the boom and pipeline positioning according to site and 2. 2. Setup and Inspection: a. Position and set up the placing boom in the correct location and secure it safely before operation. b. Inspect and test all hydraulic and mechanical components before use and inform the maintenance team for regular checking and in case of any defect. c. Check the stability of the boom and ensure all safety systems are functioning properly. d. Follow all site safety procedures and company regulations. e. Ensure no unauthorized personnel are near the boom’s operating area. f. Report any malfunctions, damage, or safety hazards immediately. 3. Coordination and Communication: a. Coordinate with the concrete pump operator and site supervisor to ensure efficient concrete delivery. b. Communicate effectively with the team for concrete flow control and positioning. c. Ensure proper hand signals or communication systems are used during operation. 4. Maintenance: a. Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of the placing boom and its components. b. Ensure the equipment is properly lubricated, cleaned, and stored after operation. c. Record daily operational logs and maintenance reports. d. Ensure concrete placement meets project specifications and standards. e. Avoid segregation, overflows, and waste of concrete during placement.
