Construction Civil Engineer - Contract Hire (Duration 10 months Contract only )

Location: Island based , Abu Dhabi

Closing Date : ASAP

• Immediate or short notice availability will be an advantage
• The candidate should have EPC experience

Rotation leave : 03 months working/18 days off.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Construction Engineer – Civil with proven experience in oil & gas projects (preferably with ADNOC) to coordinate, monitor, and support construction activities throughout the project execution phase. The role will involve working closely with the Lead Engineer and Construction Manager to ensure that project deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support preparation of construction aids, project deliverables, and execution plans.
• Review engineering drawings and documents for constructability and feasibility.
• Coordinate with internal departments, and third-party agencies.
• Monitor daily site progress and report updates through regular coordination meetings.
• Follow up on daily site activities with subcontractors to ensure adherence to schedule and maintain open work fronts for various disciplines.
• Ensure implementation of HSE requirements and quality standards.
• Assist in conducting risk assessments, mobilization, planning, and schedule updates.
• Review subcontractors’ Job Method Statements (JMS), BBS and verify related invoices.
• Support close-out activities including documentation and final reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering- Civil.
• Minimum 5 years of oil & gas EPC project, ADNOC experience.
• Familiar with ADNOC PTW system is MUST.
• Strong communication, reporting, and decision-making skills.
• A team-oriented approach and commitment to project delivery and deadlines.
