Job Title: Construction Manager – Marine Offshore Piling Project (Iraq)
Location: Iraq (Short-Term Project Assignment)
Relocation: Must be willing and ready to relocate immediately
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager for a marine offshore piling project in Iraq. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading site operations, ensuring project execution within timelines, and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all construction activities for marine offshore piling works
Plan, coordinate, and execute project activities to ensure timely completion
Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and marine operations
Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards and company policies
Monitor project progress and take corrective actions when required
Manage resources, equipment, and manpower efficiently
Coordinate with project stakeholders, engineers, and consultants
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively
Ensure quality control and adherence to technical specifications
Drive project completion within scheduled timelines
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience in marine and offshore construction projects, especially piling works
Extensive experience in tubular piling projects is mandatory
Strong leadership and decision-making skills with ability to take ownership and calculated risks
Ability to manage fast-paced project environments and deliver under pressure
Demonstrated track record of successfully completing projects on time
Strong knowledge of marine construction methodologies and site execution
Excellent team management and coordination skills
Willingness to relocate to Iraq for short-term assignment is mandatory
Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Marine / Structural Engineering or related field preferred
Minimum significant experience in large-scale marine/offshore construction projects
