Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive chemical analyses of construction materials, including cement, concrete, aggregates, and polymers, to assess their composition and properties.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure materials meet specified standards and project requirements, minimizing defects and ensuring durability.
  • Investigate material failures and performance issues, identifying root causes through chemical analysis and providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Formulate and optimize concrete mixtures, including the selection of appropriate cement, aggregates, and admixtures, to achieve desired performance characteristics.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field; a strong foundation is crucial.
  • Possession of relevant certifications, such as those from ACI or equivalent organizations, demonstrating expertise.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the construction materials industry, showcasing practical application of knowledge.
  • Experience in the construction industry, with a deep understanding of materials like cement, concrete, and aggregates.
