Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Medical degree with a specialization in Cardiology (e.g., American Board of Cardiology, MRCP or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of experience as a licensed interventional cardiologist
- Expertise in both invasive and non-invasive cardiology, including coronary angiography, angioplasty, and valve interventions
- Eligible for licensure by the Department of Health (DOH) in Abu Dhabi
- Strong leadership skills, with experience overseeing medical teams and training staff
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Proven ability to provide high-quality patient care and maintain confidentiality
- Provide expert consultation services for inpatients and outpatients in cardiology
- Supervise the operation of cardiac catheterization and diagnostic laboratories (ECG, TEE, Stress Tests, 2D Echo, Angiography, Angioplasty)
- Offer on-call emergency coverage for cardiology emergencies, including angioplasty, pericardiocentesis, balloon valvotomies, and IABP insertion
- Provide continuous care to patients admitted under your supervision
- Maintain confidentiality regarding patient and administrative matters
- Lead training programs for medical technicians and staff
- Participate in professional development activities and contribute to departmental meetings
- Ensure high standards of care and adhere to hospital protocols and safety guidelines
