Job Description

The role of a Health and Safety Consultant is crucial in ensuring that businesses, organizations, and work environments adhere to safety regulations and promote a culture of health and safety.   • Stay updated with the latest health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
  • Support the implementation of safety improvement initiatives and monitor effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to promote a culture of health and safety.
  • Manage emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and accident reporting protocols.
  • Evaluate equipment and machinery to ensure health and safety specifications are met.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Consultant or relevant role.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop safety strategies.
  • Certified Health and Safety professional preferred (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH qualifications).
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for effective problem-solving.
