Consultant Nephrology

Responsibilities/Duties:
• Provides high quality care to patients in this area of medicine
• Provides consultative service as requested
• Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians and resident
• Actively participate in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise
• Participates in research activities
• Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed
• Performs special procedures as privileges
• Follows all Hospital-related policies and procedures
Qualifications:
• Graduate from a medical school of good standing
• Completion of required period of training in specialty and/or subspecialty
• North American Board Certification or equivalent
Experience:
• Should have a minimum of three (3) years experience in a tertiary care center, post Board certification (or the relevant equivalence)
• Medical Research merits strong consideration
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals are highly desirable
Other:
• English Level I Essential
• Arabic Languages Skills Preferred
• Computer Skills Intermediate Level Essential
