Roles & Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Consultant in General Medicine will lead complex internal medicine services, supervising junior physicians while managing high-acuity and multi-system cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat complex medical conditions
  • Supervise registrars and specialists
  • Lead ward rounds and clinical case discussions
  • Participate in hospital committees and governance
  • Engage in research and teaching programs

Requirements

  • Recognized Consultant qualification in Internal Medicine
  • DOH License or eligibility
  • 8+ years post-consultant experience preferred
