Content & Merchandise Analyst- Factory Outlet
Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic individual looking for an interesting challenge in our leading retail brand? We are currently looking for a Content & Merchandise Analyst to join our Factory Outlet team in Dubai. This role is two positions merged into one, and this person will be mostly responsible for the content of our ecommerce site to go live in June, ideally with some merchandising experience
Duties of a Content Analyst
• Overseeing all content creation activities for the organizations website.
• Working closely with the marketing team to devise a web content strategy that aligns with the company's wider goals.
• Creation of a content marketing calendar to ensure regular content on the website throughout the year.
• Writing entertaining and informative search engine optimized copy.
• Targeting keywords set by the online marketing manager and basing articles around them.
• Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitor websites.
• Assisting the online marketing manager with ad-hoc copywriting.
• Repurposing content for different mediums including social media and video.
• Creation of entertaining and informative video content for the website.
• Working alongside the social media manager to create content for the different social media channels.
• Updating all sections of the website including homepage and all other categories.
• Training the ecommerce team on how to use the website content management system.
Duties of a Merchandiser Analyst
• Analyzing the marketplace and design a market strategy based on the product range
• Searching for and capitalizing on new product opportunities.
• Manages Positioning and Branding for the product range.
• Preparation of the product strategic and operational marketing plan dovetailing with overall marketing / business plan.
• Managing new product projects from start to end.
• Developing product launch programs.
• Understanding the marketplace and customer needs in order to advise in product development.
• Working closely with the sales and marketing departments to develop the sales and marketing strategy
Background of the ideal Content & Merchandiser Analyst:
• Degree educated ideally from an English, marketing or Journalism related degree.
• Highly articulate with an excellent command of written English.
• Creative minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content.
• Previous experience working as a content manager or copywriter would be an advantage.
• At least 6 years previous experience
