Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Negotiate, draft, and finalize complex contracts, ensuring favorable terms and mitigating risks related to arbitration and dispute resolution processes.
- Manage the End of Time (EOT) claims process, including assessment, documentation, and negotiation to secure favorable outcomes and minimize financial exposure.
- Oversee the claims management process for CAR (Contractor's All Risks) insurance policies, from initial notification to settlement, protecting the company's interests.
- Represent the company in arbitration proceedings, preparing comprehensive documentation, and presenting compelling arguments to achieve successful resolutions.
- Analyze contract performance, identify potential breaches, and proactively develop strategies to mitigate risks and protect the organization's interests.
- Provide expert guidance on contract law, insurance policies, and claims management, ensuring compliance and best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, project management, and finance teams, to ensure seamless contract execution and claims handling.
- Develop and maintain contract management systems and databases, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient contract lifecycle management.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes impacting contracts, arbitration, and insurance claims.
- Prepare and present reports on contract performance, claims status, and arbitration outcomes to senior management, providing actionable insights.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field, providing a strong foundation for contract management.
- Holds relevant certifications such as a Certified Contract Manager (CCM) or equivalent, demonstrating professional expertise and commitment.
- Requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in contract management, with a focus on arbitration, EOT claims, and CAR insurance.
- Demonstrates extensive experience within the construction or insurance industries, providing a deep understanding of relevant practices and regulations.
- Exhibits strong negotiation and communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with diverse stakeholders and achieving favorable outcomes.
- Possesses a proven track record of successfully managing complex contracts, resolving disputes, and securing favorable arbitration results.
- Demonstrates proficiency in contract law, insurance principles, and claims management processes, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Has a proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Requires fluency in English (written and spoken), with strong drafting and presentation skills, enabling effective communication and documentation.
