Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure clarity and compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries, facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Develop and maintain a centralized contract database, ensuring all documents are easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on contract management best practices and legal implications.
- Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, legal, and finance, to align contract terms with business objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research to inform contract negotiations and ensure competitiveness.
- Analyze and report on contract performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve future agreements.
- Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact contract terms and company policies.
- Assist in dispute resolution and conflict management related to contractual obligations, fostering a cooperative environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management or a similar role within the relevant industry.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Contract Management Certification (CMC) are highly desirable.
- Experience working in sectors such as construction, IT, or healthcare where contract complexity is significant.
- Fluency in English; additional languages such as Spanish or Mandarin are a plus for global negotiations.
- Proficiency in contract management software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.
- Strong analytical skills to assess contract risks and benefits, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to balance assertiveness and diplomacy effectively.
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy and compliance in all contractual documents.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
