Control & Automation Engineer – Design & Commissioning L E O INTERNATIONAL HR CONSULTANCY

• Responsible for all aspects of design including the technical assessment and recommendations on materials, equipment etc. provided to customers as part of contracts.

• Reviewing documents/drawings received from client and vendors.

• Planning and implementation of the relevant design activities (Plan, Review, verification, and validation).

• Reviewing the scope of work and related specification and shall prepare engineering input for planning such as document/ drawing list.

• Provide inputs for manufacturing, pre-commissioning & commissioning activities.

• Design checks on the drawings/ documents provided by client, based on company’s specification, international standards etc.

• Monitors drafting team and ensure deliverables are issued on time and obtain approval from the client as needed.

• Reviewing bid evaluation, purchase orders etc.

• Prepare material requisitions, technical input for technical queries etc.

• Preparation of MTO’s, drawings, calculation and reports, as-built drawings etc.

• Preparation of operations & maintenance manuals that form part of contacts.

• Reviewing of drawings/ documents prepared internally.

• Ensure any Corrective Action Request (CAR) issued is closed out within the time with proper verifiable evidence including root cause.

Commissioning responsibilities

• All testing/commissioning activities and their monitoring.

• Ensure / prepare relevant test/commissioning plans, procedures & test sheets.

• Ensure all testing equipment are available and its calibration maintained.

• Ensure all HSE precautions are met and provide toolbox talks.

• Conducting all functional and performance tests as per approved procedures.

• Prepare all test reports as per the approved procedures.

• Maintain records and status of the testing activities.

• Liaises with clients on all testing and quality related matters.

• Trouble shooting any errors identified during the testing.

• Raise RFIs for testing in coordination with quality inspector.

• Co-ordinate with client and vendor with regards to testing issues for resolution.

• Issuing punch list and categorizing the punch.
