Job Description

Cook Assistant Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf Dubai Dubai, UAEbr>

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients including chopping, portioning, washing, peeling, and storing
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately
  • Cook food according to recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards
  • Prepare cold dishes and support mise en place
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, microwaves, and kitchen equipment safely
  • Test and monitor food during cooking to ensure correct doneness
  • Set up and break down workstations efficiently
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene by cleaning tools, knives, equipment, and surfaces
  • Check and record temperatures of appliances and food items
  • Follow safety and security policies, and report any unsafe conditions
  • Maintain a professional appearance and respect confidentiality of company information
  • Support team goals with clear communication and positive collaboration
  • Stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Carry or move items up to 25 pounds as required
  • Perform additional kitchen duties assigned by supervisors
