SHARE JOB JOB SUMMARY The Coordinator- Business Development is responsible for planning and developing business strategies in consultation with the Manager to meet the Hospital objectives. Ensures production of timely marketing and communications materials, Quality Management and implementation of projects that builds consistent brand identity and support strategic goals. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development 1. Generates innovative business development strategies, forms sustainable relationships within the medical community and assists the Manager in the accomplishment of Hospital goals. 2. Maintains appropriate and consistent relationships with corporate partners and medical organizations in Kuwait for the promotional support. 3. Locates/ proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities 4. Plans programs/ events that build relationships between healthcare personnel and patients, as well as position the Hospital services favorably in the healthcare market 5. Engages in business development opportunities to reach potential clients and customers 6. Contributes in development of standards to identify new business opportunities for impending expansion plans; develops feasibility studies/business plans. 7. Monitors external and internal environment for development of new market segments. 8. Liaises with community physicians who are affiliated with the Hospital to determine their needs and reports findings to Manager on a periodic basis through systematic visits. 9. Plans and arranges the visits of the physicians for the rotation program in coordination with the HR department, and follows up all promotions related to the program. Marketing 10. Assists in the analysis and preparation of contracts with media/advertising agencies and suppliers of artwork and marketing material 11. Liaises with media/advertising agencies, photographers, etc. for media-based advertising and promotional campaigns 12. Coordinates the preparations and arrangement of Hospital promotional functions such as symposia, exhibits and conference etc. 13. Ensures coverage of NMH’s events and news through appropriate Arabic and English press releases 14. Ensures that all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution are delivered as per Hospital standards. 15. Plans and monitors regular update of the Hospital social media activities/ updates including website’s content General Duties 16. Generates monthly reports to include activities, contacts/leads, proposed new ideas, and statistical information. 17. Liaises and networks with a range of stakeholders including staff, suppliers, customers etc. 18. Assists in the development of Department budget and ensures all activities are delivered within the budget. 19. Contributes towards implementation of plans to improve Departmental functioning. 20. Enhances professional growth, training and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in service meetings and workshops 21. Attends meetings as required. 22. MBA or Post Graduate degree in Marketing is an advantage EXPERIENCE: 5 years’ experience in Marketing or Communications in service industry at least 2 years in Healthcare OTHER SKILLS: Administrative Skills: Detail-Oriented and highly Organized. Team player; Problem Solving and Stress management skills; Tact and Discretion when dealing with people; Ability to work independently under minimum supervision Soft Skills: Excellent Communication & Inter-personal skills Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Outlook) Microsoft Visio, Photoshop and Internet Language Skills: Expertise in written and spoken English and Arabic. PHYSICAL & WORKING CONDITIONS Normally works in an air conditioned office, clean, well light and pleasant surroundings May require to work long hours under highly stressful conditions and deal with department exigencies.
