Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Carry out brazing, fitting, and installation of copper pipes for LPG distribution systems.
  • Perform pipe cutting, bending, threading, and joining using approved methods and materials.
  • Ensure proper alignment, support, and clamping of copper pipelines as per design drawings.
  • Conduct pressure testing and leak testing of installed pipelines under supervision.
  • Read and interpret LPG shop drawings and isometric diagrams for pipe routing and connections.
  • Install valves, regulators, fittings, and accessories according to manufacturer recommendations.
  • Follow LPG safety standards, fire safety, and quality procedures during installation.
  • Coordinate with the LPG supervisor, civil, and MEP teams for site execution.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and consumables in good working condition.
  • Support the team during commissioning and final testing activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2–6 years of experience in LPG, gas piping, or copper brazing works.
  • Skilled in oxy-acetylene brazing and soldering techniques.
  • Sound knowledge of LPG safety codes and installation standards.
  • Ability to work independently and interpret technical drawings.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces or at height.
