Job Purpose and Responsibilities
Corporate Safety and Security Specialist Level 1 (S1), is an entry level security position with Frontier Services Group (FSG). S1s are employed globally in support of Corporate departments, regional business units, country teams and projects.
An S1 has two primary goals:
Support to journey management and incident response as a watch keeper in an operations centre.
Participation in physical protection, including, but not limited to, man guarding, supervision of up to 10 guards, asset protection, workplace violence protection, access control and video surveillance.
An S1 has the following additional responsibilities:
Knowledge and maintenance of FSG security policies and procedures.
Knowledge and maintenance of the relevant project, country, regional or departmental (according to the S1 s location and responsibilities) policies and procedures.
Maintenance of good communications between project, country, regional, departmental and Corporate units.
Reporting of and corrective action recommendations for incidents and security breaches.
Regular reporting to line manager.
No previous security experience required although previous experience is an advantage.
High school graduate.
Graduation from FSG s International Security Specialist Program (ISSP) Modules 1-2  .
Membership of the American Society for Industrial Security ( https://www.asisonline.org ) 
Continuation training will be provided by FSG to enable S1s to progress to S2 and on through the FSG career system which has six levels for security specialists.
Specialist Knowledge Required
The candidate will have a working knowledge of at least two of the following languages: English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili, or other indigenous languages of Africa or Asia.
Fluency or working knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
IT skills with the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. This generally means that the candidate must not have a criminal record.
Must be able to pass the FSG basic physical fitness assessment.
Willingness to deploy to high threat and frontier environments where shift work will be required. Candidates may express preference to deploy to specific projects or countries for which the terms and conditions of employment will be appropriate.
 25 days training will be provided by FSG at a facility selected by FSG prior to an offer of employment.
